Long-time OkSciOly Coach and Event Supervisor Mark Fuller passed away at home in late May. Mark was one of the first Coaches when Putnam City Schools began forming Science Olympiad teams for competition between the district’s five middle schools and before the program was expanded state-wide. He was also a regular Event Supervisor for the Bottle Rocket event.

Mark attended high school at Putnam City West (where Bob Melton was Biology and Environmental Science teacher) and later graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He taught science at Western Oaks Middle School for 37 years before retiring a few years ago. He is survived by his wife Lori (who was also a student of Bob) and his daughter Keri Rene,
